About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Town Planner for our growing team in Wagga Wagga.  The successful applicant will work with experienced Town Planners and Engineers across our NSW offices and make valuable contributions to our projects and with our clients. Our teams work tirelessly to guide clients through the entire planning, design or construction process, from land use approvals, environmental assessments and land surveys through to engineering and architectural designs.

Our goal is to provide a service that exceeds client’s needs for a quality and professional project that is delivered on time and within budget. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of planning and related legislation including both statutory and strategic planning;
• Preparation of written reports, including Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, Planning Scoping Reports and Planning Proposal Requests;
• Preparation of NSW Rural Fire Service – Bush Fire Assessment Report.
• Project management, including client liaison, preparation of fee proposals, budgets and invoice preparation;
• Ability to manage and co-ordinate projects;
• Ability to liaise with Councils, State Agencies, developers and clients, consultants and the broader community;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor degree tertiary qualification in urban or town planning;
• 3 - 10 years post graduate experience.
