If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.As a senior stakeholder Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transmission projects and renewable energy zones under the Victorian Transmission Investment Framework (VTIF). As a key part of a large and supportive engagement team, you will represent the unique perspectives and interests of the Barwon South West or Loddon Mallee regions as VicGrid develops a long-term plan for the renewable energy transition.With your knowledge of the Barwon South West Or Loddon Mallee regions and your belief in meaningful stakeholder engagement, you will ensure the voice of the community is heard where and when it counts, contributing to sustainable renewable energy infrastructure that aligns with community values and preferences.You will embrace best-practice, collaborative approaches to engagement which build long-term trust and earn social acceptance. - Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies
- Identify local community issues and ensure tailored consultation
- Coordinate community events and respond to feedback
- Contribute to communications and promotional materials
- Evaluate engagement activities for improvement.
- A background in stakeholder engagement, with experience on complex, regional or energy projects valued
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand underlying concerns and foster genuine interaction
- Experience in managing projects or events
- Proficiency in developing promotional and communication materials
- An ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on joint goals.
