The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Team Leader, Workforce Management, the Senior Workforce Coordinator - Afterhours will ensure the efficient and effective management of client schedules and support worker rosters in Community, Aged Care, and Accommodation services. The responsibilities include coordinating accurate rosters in a fair and impartial manner, guaranteeing continuity of care for customers, and upholding the company's values and policies across all workforce management decisions.
The Senior Workforce Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting the After-Hours Workforce Coordinator Team, by handling escalations, delivering training and managing priorities and workload.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Scheduling, approval, and adjustments of optimised rosters
- Providing exceptional customer service by skillfully aligning customer needs and preferences with the capabilities of support workers
- Provide supervision and support to WFM Coordinators, ensuring they have clear direction as to their duties, responsibilities and tasks.
- Guide rostering decisions using workforce management techniques and reporting for informed decision-making
- Experience working in the Australian aged care and disability sector (preferable)
- Demonstrated experience in rostering and scheduling operations across extensive geographical regions, with a preference for experience within a clinical setting
- Proven track record of outstanding stakeholder management, showcasing an adept ability to establish and nurture relationships effectively
- Proficient experience in handling service delivery through various channels, including phone, email, and non-face-to-face interactions
- Proven experience in leadership, training and mentorship.
