About the Role
The position partners with key stakeholders to produce written content that enables the delivery of Communications objectives across organisational strategy, CEO and thought leadership communications and internal communications.
Key Accountabilities (Refer to PD for full list of Key Accountabilities)
- Develops foundational strategy and program key messages from complex information and multiple sources to bring WWF's work to life and support brand reputation, conservation, engagement, and revenue activities.
- Manages multiple copywriting projects in support of strategic communications plans and writes accurate and engaging copy in a variety of formats to deliver agreed strategic priorities, supporting the CEO, Exec and Board with drafting communications when required.
- Drafts organisational positioning, key messages and Q&As to support the achievement of our strategic objectives and enables teams across the organisation to present a consistent voice and message on key topics.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience (Refer to PD for full list of Key Accountabilities)
- Demonstrated experience in copywriting to support advocacy, revenue, brand or share of voice outcomes, which denotes a high degree of specialised expertise/knowledge of writing to meet strategic communications objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in writing to explain complex issues/topics to be used in a variety of settings, from advocacy to storytelling.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
