Seo & Content Specialist

Want to take the lead on producing travel content as our SEO Content Specialist? We have an awesome opportunity to be an editorial SEO & Content writer for tours and activities across AU, NZ, and around the world. 

This is a unique opportunity for a creative writing wizard with a background in SEO to help us elevate our brand voice, produce SEO optimised content & add flair to new product listings. This position will be working with our external SEO agency to deliver on briefs, along with leaning on your own expertise to drive organic traffic through site content optimisation through on-page SEO & blog posts. 

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering on external SEO briefs
• Analysing content performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Preparing copy which is within style guidelines, creative, entertaining, well-researched, informative, and matches the brief across multiple channels e.g. website, email, owned Facebook groups and social media
• Ensuring all campaigns are subbed, fact-checked, and carry catchy ‘commercially-driven and SEO optimised’ headlines.
• Ensuring content in the CMS is updated throughout the production process.
• Writing exciting tour & activity descriptions
• Assisting to set KPI’s for content performance
• Writing SEO optimised blog articles related to current campaigns or travel trends and sharing blogs across multiple platforms (e.g. owned Facebook Groups) to drive traffic to the website

What we are looking for:

• Experience with content SEO
• Content analysis skills including Google Analytics
• Confident with writing, grammar, punctuation and tone when creating content, social posts, email content, blog and print articles.
• Experienced in writing/creating & measuring commercial content.
• The ability to thrive within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Passionate about the details - a high attention to detail is a must in this role.
• Proven track record of content writing & SEO wins
