One of Australia’s leading Federal Government Departments is looking to engage multiple skilled and experienced Server Engineers/ Windows Engineers to join the Infrastructure and Operational Support branch. The successful Server Engineers/ Windows Engineers will secure a contract until 30 June 2024 with a 1 year option to extend!
The successful Server Engineers/ Windows Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Undertake technical deliverables as a recognised senior specialist, providing end to end technical solutions.
- Implement and support Microsoft Server solutions and designs.
- Implement and support virtualised server environments across a global network.
- Participate in skills transfer and mentoring of junior staff.
- Strong coordination and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
The successful Server Engineers/ Windows Engineers will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server versions up to and including Server 2022 in an enterprise environment.
- Virtualisation technologies including both VMWare and Nutanix technologies, design, build, operating and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in teams to produce quality outcomes.
- The ability to translate technical information to those with a non-technical background
