Motacare is a family-orientated company that has been performing Road Service for the RACV for the last 25 years. Motacare has four mechanical workshops in Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, and Torquay. Motacare operates a fleet of Patrol vans and tow trucks to service the RACV members in these areas.
The Position
Motacare is looking to fill a Service Advisor position to help run our Ballarat Operation. The position is a full-time position working in a modern facility . Motacare works on a wide variety of vehicles. The successful applicant will be responsible for the customer and team member experience at the workshop, having outstanding customer service and people skills with an aim to build long term relationships within the community by providing honest advice and high quality work. We are looking for someone with experience in the automotive industry as well as administration skills. The successful applicant will be continually looking to improve their skills and performance. The successful applicant will help create a great working environment between the Workshop customers, Members, RACV Patrols and the Workshop. No previous experience is required with the RACV as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
- Actively develop and build relationships with retail and automotive trade customers
- Assisting customers with enquiries, bookings and service scheduling over the phone, in person and via email
- Processing orders, invoices and payments
- Providing quotes for vehicle servicing and repairs
- Determining customer requirements and assisting in the selection of solutions
- Preparation of job cards
- Stock management
- Invoicing
- Maintain workshop and office presentation standards
The successful candidates
- Previous experience in a similar automotive role
- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills
- Have strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Demonstrate a hands on, positive and can-do attitude
- Are punctual and reliable
- Shows initiative and can work independently

Previous experience in the Automotive industry is highly favourable
