The Service Advisor carries out a range of duties related to being the key contact between the customer and the dealership, for repair and maintenance of vehicles, while ensuring customer satisfaction
Duties included:
- Meeting and greeting clients, customers and visitors
- Answering all incoming calls and directing appropriately
- Taking enquires and service bookings
- Keeping customers up to date with vehicle progress
- Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job
- Liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame
- Gaining authorisation for extra work
- Helping bring new business into the service department
- Must have high attention to detail
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor is essential
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Exceptional customer service with a pleasant & professional phone manner
- Sound knowledge of auto mechanics
