Form of workWe are looking for a Service Advisor to join our friendly and supportive Mercedes-Benz and Ram service team.
Working within our Mercedes-Benz and Ram departments and reporting to the Service Manager. The successful applicant must be motivated, well presented and eager to develop their skills, adding to the teams highly motivated culture.

Responsibilities
As a Service Advisor, you are the face of all our customer-oriented service processes. You are responsible for personal customer contact and setting standards in terms of professional customer management. You see every contact with a customer as an opportunity to build a relationship and take on the responsibility for the customers’ needs until they have been resolved. You will be :
- Coordinating the scope of services for repair and maintenance with the customer and obtaining their approval.
- Checking the need for and availability of external work and, where necessary, booking external work.
- Coordinating of pick-up time and date, method and location with the customer.
- Actively approaching customers, thus demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Determining the best way to meet the customers and the G Brothers goals.
- Reliable and able to keep to promised agreements.
- Team focused and have cooperation skills, ensuring smooth interactions between Service reception and the workshop.
- Sales-oriented with strong selling skills both verbal and written, allowing you to actively advise on service products and accessories as needed by the customer.
Skills and experience
- Experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised dealer would be highly regarded although not essential.
- Trained in either automotive repairs or sales.
- Demonstrate ability to easily build rapport.
- Deliver professional customer service.
- Maintain a high level of integrity.
- Contribute towards the success of our team.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia & hold a full Australian Driver’s license.
