Join our Services APAC team within Services division in Australia as a Service Centre Manager to help us take our Cardiff Service Centre to the next level.
What you will be doing day to day?
- Overseeing approximately 30-35 Electrical Fitters, Mechanical Fitters, Machinists, Apprentices and providing direction to the Works Manager.
- Ensuring works are being conducted to support customer orders and are being executed in accordance with the contract, schedules and available resources.
- Providing continuous feedback and coaching direct reports.
- Driving key operational performance indicator across the Service Centre such as forecasting, margin, labour utilization, engineering expertise, quality and safety culture.
- Understanding and managing the overall P&L for the Cardiff Service Centre.
- Leading the Service Centre against the strategy and the budget to achieve the P&L.
- Monthly quarterly & end of year management reporting.
- Managing the Service Centre KPIs and ensuring aligned with corporate financial targets.
- Conducting monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews with Senior Management in Australia.
- Ensuring efficient organization and management across the Service Centre.
What you will bring to Sulzer?
To be a successful Service Centre Manager, you will ideally have:
- A Bachelor's degree or Trade qualification in Business and/or Electrical Engineering or related discipline within the industry.
- A technical background in electrical engineering / trade is essential.
- 10+ years' demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing P&Ls.
- Excellent negotiation and sales support skills
- Strong communication skills & ability to engage and work with others.
- Ability to motivate and challenge direct reports and give direction to the whole organization
