About the role
This position works in partnership with colleagues within the Western Beaches region and across Avivo, and with external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. The case load will include a small number of customers that require regular and close contact with their Service Coordinator and supporting teams. You are required to support the delivery of quality supports and services within a safe environment, work in partnership with colleagues and external stakeholders to support customers to make real what matters to them.

Duties include:
Safety and risk management
Providing detailed reports to NDIS, relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
Recruitment, onboarding, supervision and development of teams
Contribution to area culture
Planning, providing and monitoring services against budget
Coordinating the delivery of support for individuals alongside positive behaviour support and restrictive practice guidelines
Selection criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role of 2 years or more (essential)
- Certificate IV in Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health (or working towards)
- Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Previous experience in supporting and developing employees and teams
- Demonstrated ability to work as a supportive leader, with ability to coach and resource others' development
- Knowledge and understanding of disability, aged care and/or mental health sectors and demonstrates contemporary professional knowledge, values, and practice
- Commitment and skills in providing excellent support to customers
- Understanding and commitment to working with communities to welcome and include all people as valued citizens
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, numeracy, and literacy
- Strong IT skills including ability to use portals, systems, and document relevant information
