St John Ambulance provides a variety of services for the some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Our transport service provides direct access, accompanied activities and social trips to clients of all ages.
About the Role
The primary purpose of a Service Delivery Co-ordinator is to provide operational and logistical support to the Service Delivery Team. This will include supporting the delivery of the community transport component to both funded and non-funded clients and partner agencies.
In this role, you will be responsible for support for the ‘on the day’ management of our fleet service, this will include staff changes, resource allocation and ad hoc administration. Changes are managed through a variety of systems so multitasking skills are a must.
You will engage regularly with our Service Delivery and customer care team to communicate changes, resolve challenges, and provide support. You will ensure a high-quality Service Delivery while responding appropriately to change and work diligently to optimise the resources at hand on any given day.
About you (skills and experience)
- Experience within call centre and dispatch roles would be advantageous
- An understanding of and commitment to the community services sector; previous experience in a client transport and/or personal care role would be advantageous
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple incoming and outgoing communication streams
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills – capacity to liaise professionally with a varying client base including clients with disability and aged persons related conditions
- Intermediate IT skills
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Proven ability to manage schedules and tasks
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Blue Card (current or ability to obtain one)
- Criminal History Check (current or ability to obtain one)

Applications
Full-time position (38 ordinary hours per week) between Monday and Friday, however some time outside of normal business hours may be required.
Rotating roster: 6.30am - 2.30pm and 10am - 6pm
