Role Overview:
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role reporting directly to our Manager of Operations. In this capacity, you will hold a critical responsibility for ensuring the delivery of exceptional services across key programs, including:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Community Access
- Work Cover / TAC / Safe Steps
- Veterans' Home Care (VHC)
As an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with our Program Team Leaders to create efficient frameworks and approaches, ensuring the consistent delivery of outstanding experiences, support, and solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass regulatory compliance, safety assurance, quality care, and the fulfillment of contractual commitments.
The Service Delivery Manager will receive mobile phone, and laptop. This role may require occasional on-call duties and interstate travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage Leaders of each respective program on a daily basis to ensure services align with WCSS policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to program leaders.
- Facilitate the planning and implementation of activities and strategies that align with customer goals.
- Oversee program operations to ensure quality outcomes and compliance.
- Identify areas of care/clinical risk and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Report to management regarding risk and standards of care and quality, and monitor service quality.
- Manage quotes for services, conduct annual reviews for all customers, and communicate relevant information about their service.
- Identify workplace health and safety hazards for customers and employees, taking necessary precautions.
- Ensure compliance with WCSS policies and all regulatory requirements.
About You:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013, Disability Act 2006, Aged Care Act, and other relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated expertise in ROC (Roster of Care ) principles.
- Superior understanding of NDIS/SIL and Aged Care practices and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of NDIS and other disability sector funding innovations.
- Significant experience in managing and delivering Disability Services.
- Diverse and relevant experience in community services with a focus on designing innovative, flexible, and individualized plans and associated costings within the NDIS environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Relevant Qualifications in Disability/Community Services.
- Strong work ethic.
- Mandatory Documentation including Current Working with NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR certification and valid Driver's license.
