Lead and manage a team of specialist Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics and Cloud technology resources across diverse competencies at an operational level to achieve defined service levels and quality standards.
The successful candidate will negotiate, prioritise and manage scheduling for the delivery of one or more teams of multidisciplinary ICT professionals across multiple, parallel projects/engagements to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes, identifying resourcing risks, issues and appropriate mitigation strategies.
How you will be assessed:
• Demonstrated experience in setting the direction for and leading ICT and Business Intelligence project services delivery on large scale, complex IM/ICT programs/project(s), preferably in the health care industry. (SFIA Skill: BUAN: Level 6, SFIA Skill: ITMG Level 6).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external technology vendors in order to partner with them in delivering the required ICT outcomes within a cloud technologies and data delivery environment (SFIA: RLMT 5, SURE 5).
• Strong client focus with proven skills to prioritise, organise and implement resource and work schedules to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes. (NHS: Drive for results).
• Conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to respond to client business requirements (SFIA: CNSL 5).
• Proven high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the negotiation, consultation and communication skills to influence key stakeholders in a complex program/ project environment of change and evolution. (SFIA Code: RLMT 6; NHS: Shapes strategic thinking, Communicates with Influence; NHS: Effective and strategic influencing).
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing and managing the professional development of employees (SFIA Skill: PDSV: Level 5).
• Demonstrated ability to manage staff in line with contemporary human resource management policies, procedures and practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour (NHS: Collaborative working, Cultivates productive working relationships, Empowering others).
Specific Working Conditions:
• The successful candidate may be required to work onsite with projects in varying locations across South East Queensland. Travel to Queensland Health sites throughout Queensland may also be required as part of this role.
