About The Role:
The position of Technical Officer - Hair, Beauty & Barbering, is the first point of contact for clients in the salon reception area and works with the Teachers and Program Lead to provide support for practical sessions, which includes scheduling salon clients. The position is engaged in a variety of quality assurance activities, which include scheduling of maintenance of equipment and ordering of stock, related to salon services. This role has a strong focus to support all staff, and students undertaking the hair, beauty and barbering courses offered within BKI and will directly be responsible for client bookings and student equipment ordering and distributing, relating to the learning area
We are excited about you because you have:
- Qualification in business administration and reception work or equivalent with work experience or demonstrated practical experience in providing reception duties within a hair or beauty salon or educational salon setting.
- Competent in use of technology, word and excel spreadsheets
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an educational environment (desirable).?
- Demonstrated advanced skills in the use of Student Management Systems, internet search engines, the Microsoft Office suite of programs
