We are currently looking for an Industrial Service Electrician with a passion for electrical controls to join our team in Sydney. This would be an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and determined individual who wants to gain valuable industrial experience in fault-finding repairs and maintenance. The role is for a qualified Electrician with a Supervisor Certificate that may lead to further career development within the Service Team.
Key responsibilities
- Routine service and breakdown support
- Preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation
- Complex electrical investigation, rectification, and reporting
- Electrical installation works
- Assistance with commissioning of projects
- Variable Speed Drive repair
- On the job timekeeping and invoicing
Essential skills and experience
- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
- Must have industrial electrical experience (domestic and commercial experience not considered).
- Electrical installation and commissioning experience.
- Naval Defence experience highly regarded.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
- The ability to work independently without supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Working at Heights, Confined Space training and Hazardous Area accreditation all highly desirable.
Key requirements
- Electrical Licence.
- Australian Drivers Licence.
- Must be an Australian Citizen and should be able to obtain and maintain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.
