Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of Cabrini Technology Group, currently has a vacancy for a Service Engineer to join its Adelaide team. The successful applicant will use his/her skills to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical and gas therapy equipment.
The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to define, diagnose and repair faulty electronic equipment.
Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
- At least 1 year of previous technical hands-on service experience in the repair and service of Medical, Electronic, Electro-Mechanical equipment (desirable);
- Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;
- An organised and pro-active approach to work;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well, with minimal supervision.
- A current non-restricted SA driver's licence;
