Service Guidance And Practice Officer - Newcastle

The Role
The APS5 Guidance Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Researching, drafting, developing and updating internal and external guidance material while ensuring that they comply with standards for plain English and accessibility.
• Interpreting the policy and legislative environment the branch operates in.
• Developing or updating guidance material in response to participant and external stakeholder feedback.
• Understanding the key stages of the participant pathway, specific participant cohorts and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.
• Providing service delivery knowledge and advice about procedural guidance, practice implementation and operational matters.
• Contributing to continuous improvement, maintaining best practice and innovation in the branch.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent communication with internal/external stakeholders. Represent work area in guidance development.
• Interpret and draft clear guidance material from policy. Simplify complex information.
• Managing multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy.
• Meeting defined timeframes and performing other duties as requested.
• Operate under limited direction, following policies.
• Desirable: Confluence and JIRA experience.
