Our outstanding staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing the highest quality community services including domestic support, personal care, meals, transport, respite and social support to a growing number of clients across the Hunter Valley. We have offices in Singleton and Rutherford and the role can be based in either location.
As the Rostering Officer, ideally you have experience in the Community Services Sector or with rostering in a complex, busy environment where no two days are the same. You have a sharp attention to detail, natural people skills and a knack of finding solutions.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role cover:
- Rostering of all client services across aged care and disability services.
- Publishing rosters in advance.
- Liaising with staff to balance their needs and those of our clients.
- Implementing new services and changes to services into the rostering system.
- Working closely with the Rostering Coordinator and Service Support Team to ensure accurate and efficient rosters.
Skills and experience required include:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in rostering.
- Ability to meet deadlines and effect roster changes in a timely way.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Consistent ability to problem solve.
