About the role
A rare opportunity has become available for a full time Service Manager to join the leadership team at our state-of-the-art dealership on West Terrace, Adelaide. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage the daily operations of the service department and plan, control and increase department efficiencies, meeting strategic financial and operational performance targets. You will be capable of achieving Customer Satisfaction and NPS targets, sales and profitability growth within our service department.
Duties & responsibilities
- Lead a motivated team in all facets of the day-to-day operations of the service department.
- Enhance workshop productivity and efficiencies.
- Develop appropriate programs to assist in the achievement of sales and profit targets.
- Maintain and review, on an ongoing basis, a safe working environment and promote a ‘safety first’ culture.
- Provide an industry leading amazing experience for our customers.
- Focus on maintaining and growing our service customer retention.
- Ensure manufacturer relations are maintained to a high standard at all times.

Skills & experience
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not essential
- Effective leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to handle high pressure situations
- Ability to multitask
- Able to liaise with management, staff, customers and contractors at a high level
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Sound computer skills and a focus on IT development
- Current drivers’ licence
