Are you an experienced and qualified HVAC professional looking for a leadership role? Join our Gold Coast-based, family-owned company with over 45 years of expertise in providing top-notch Air Conditioning and Ventilation Services. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the position of Service Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Management experience (desired)
- Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with a full ARC license
- Restricted electrical license (desired)
- Australian Driver’s license
- Extensive experience in commercial/residential air conditioning and mechanical services
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
- Efficient and effective work ethic
- Ownership mentality towards client sites and pride in work
- Outstanding time management skills
- Leadership abilities to manage a team of service technicians/apprentices
- Team player with experience in job scheduling, ideally with ServiceM8
Key Duties:
- Manage technicians for service/maintenance jobs
- Write service reports and preventative maintenance agreements
- Communicate with clients via phone/email
- Job scheduling using ServiceM8
- Order parts/equipment for service and warranty works
- Quote and manage small replacement system projects
- Liaise with service clients to ensure high-level service and communication
- Develop and submit quotations for repairs and maintenance
- Manage and maintain maintenance schedules
- Build the service client base for future growth
- Ensure quality workmanship for service and repair jobs
- Develop, train, and grow the Service Department’s expertise
