About the position
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Service Manager to lead the Murrumbidgee team in providing medium-term clinical services for adults who are experiencing mental health and other issues. The program aims to provide support and therapies for people living with mental health issues, and their families and carers. You will be accountable for the delivery of services ensuring efficient, effective, safe and high-quality consumer management and clinical / psychosocial service delivery consistent with best practice guidelines.
You will be based at the Wagga Wagga GPH hub. This is a fulltime, fixed term opportunity up until to 31 December 2024 with possibility of extension.

What you'll need:
1. Qualifications as an allied health professional (e.g. psychologist, social worker, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, or Aboriginal mental health worker) and current registration with a relevant credentialling body such as AHPRA
2. Previous experience in a program management role and or health services management
3. Demonstrated leadership experience of a multidisciplinary team including planning for and delivering on team objectives and deliverables, monitoring and developing team and individual performance.
4. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and consultation skills to work effectively with all stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes
5. High level of computer literacy, including demonstrated experience with report writing and electronic client information management systems
6. Current unrestricted drivers licence and willingness to travel as part of the role. Periodic intrastate and occasional interstate travel will be required which will involve overnight stays.
