Are you WELL ORGANISED Licensed Plumber or Service/Operations Manager who has worked in a trade-based business before and looking to grow with a rapidly expanding company?
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Daily job scheduling for 8-12 vehicles across the Sydney metro area
- Checking and updating our job management system (SimPRO), including but not limited to, data entry, status updates and tracking
- Co-ordinate, plan and manage technicians and sub-contractors performing planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Price all do and charge jobs daily ready for invoicing.
- Support and collaborate with Estimation/Projects Manager with project jobs requirements.
- Ensure all work performed by the field staff is carried out in accordance with Jetblack Plumbers job management process, to high standard of quality and in a safe manner. Note: to maintain our ISO triple certification.
- Notify all stakeholders of site notices and changes to work areas.
- Develop and manage job management processes, strategies and schedules to optimise the quality and lifespan of client assets.
- Assist where required for future contracts/project work that require PPM and/or asset management registers.
- Maintain stock levels in vans and order as required.
- Identify and review existing systems and capability, processes and workflows to support implementation of maintenance strategy and continuous improvement in the delivery of efficient, client-focused building maintenance services.
- Manage job sheets from field staff and submit for pricing.
- Vehicle and staff monitoring - Using the vehicle tracking systems to schedule field staff and assist the co-ordination of ordering new vehicles.
- Co-ordinate inspections monthly as required with Project Managers and Lead technicians at toolboxes for e.g. Site inspections, vehicle inspections.
- Positively manage field staff and keep field them accountable to meeting their KPIs and organisational cultural values. Specific KPIs for productivity, job card completion, customer service/feedback, onsite workmanship – escalating any areas of concern or issues to a Department head.
- Initiate reprimand meetings with field staff with HR.
- Coordinate staff leave coverage, RDO rosters and on call rosters into the field staff schedule with HR and Field staff manager.
- Complete end of week and end of month reporting to the Service team lead and Head of Operations.
- Manage and promptly respond to all emails. Respond/update all customers before the end of each workday.
The role is Monday to Friday, 7.30am-4pm.
You must have a vibrant personality and present the organisation in a professional manner. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
