About the Role: We have an opportunity at our Richlands, Brisbane branch for a Service TechnicianLeading Hand. A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Construction and Forestry machinery. This workshop-based role will entail from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly. This job will involve: Assist with the supervision of day-to-day workshop operationsSupervise and support allocated employees' work schedules assisting with technical knowledge where needed.Provide technical support to the Service Manager in the mechanical and electrical areas ensuring we are providing customers with the correct fault-finding informationDiagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned.Document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts, time and fluids usedMaintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer serviceYou will bring the following skills and experience to the role: Relevant Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel Fitter/ Mobile Plant Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent.A current and valid driver's licenceExperience in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, including engine overhauls and major repairsExcellent knowledge and understanding of the design & function of John Deere equipment will be highly regardedHave an engaging work approach and strong customer service focus.A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your workYour application: Prospective candidates are advised that interviews will commence immediately, and we enjoy a fast, easy and transparent hiring process.
