Xtra Care Equipment is a family owned, South Australian company which has been providing assistive technology solutions within the disability sector for over 20 years. Our team consists of 16 passionate individuals who work together to meet and exceed our client’s goals. Our specific area of interest is complex equipment including wheelchairs (manual and power), seating solutions, walking and bathroom aids.
We are currently seeking a full time staff member to join our equipment maintenance team who modify, service and repair the above equipment. The candidate will be required to do some on-road repairs and also help with other jobs in the business as required. Role can be tailored to specific interests and skills and will be supported by other technical, administrative, sales and managerial staff.

- Willingness to learn about disability-related equipment if you’re new to this industry
- Mechanical reasoning and ability to work with basic tools

- A current drivers licence
Desirable competencies
- Previous welding/fabrication experience
- Forklift licence
- Test and tag certification
- Understanding of electrical systems
- Computer literacy
