As the Director of Services, you will play a pivotal role in
executing the group's services strategy within your Business Unit. This is a senior leadership position that demands operational and commercial acumen, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will lead a team of project and services professionals, collaborating closely with BU and Global Services Directors, and working across various functions such as Sales, Support, Development, Product, and Central Functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute plans, budgets, and coordination for the BU's services to consistently achieve customer satisfaction, quality, and financial targets.
- Lead resource management activities, ensuring optimal utilisation, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs.
- Manage the order book to maximise delivery and address short and long-term challenges.
- Lead, motivate, and direct the team to deliver service excellence and high-standard business outcomes.
- Devise scalable strategies and delivery models to enhance service quality and profitability.
- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation for the highest level of services, quality, and value for customers.
- Anticipate future trends and customer needs, building new service models to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Leads to ensure customer priorities are met and to design the service implementation of new products and services.
- Champion continuous development of best practices within the division and collaborate with other Services Leads across divisions.
Essential Competencies:
- Extensive operational leadership experience.
- Demonstrable commercial judgment and acumen.
- Experience in managing complex teams, including remote teams, in an environment of ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading a customer-facing business and building relationships with C-level customers.
- Extensive understanding of development lifecycle and delivery.

- Organisational skills within complex project delivery.
- Experience collaborating with leaders across the division and wider organisation.
- Project Management experience (PRINCE2 preferred).
- Strong Knowledge of project delivery
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
