We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Services Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality catering, cleaning, and laundry services.
About the Role:
As a Services Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the provision of excellent Hotel Services, including catering, cleaning, and laundry.
- Leading and directing teams and individuals, supervising their work within the determined budget.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory authorities.
- Managing and maintaining stock at required levels.
- Updating relevant information in the Residential Client Management System.
- Handling resident and staff complaints regarding hotel services.
- Coordinating staff training and professional development.
- Providing regular performance development and reviews with employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hotel Services: Overseeing the delivery of high-quality hotel services and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Cleaning Services: Ensuring all general cleaning is well-managed and maintained to a high standard.
- Catering Services: Delivering high-quality dining services, ensuring a restaurant-like experience.
- Laundry Services: Ensuring residents’ clothes and linen are laundered to the highest standard.
- Leadership: Providing quality leadership, conducting recruitment, and ensuring employee training.
Key Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Hospitality or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in leading teams.
- Ability to meet the needs of clients, visitors, and employees.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality service delivery.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Sound computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise by example.
- Commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) in the workplace.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Budget management experience.
- Experience working in the Aged Care Industry.
- Knowledge of Infection Control.
- Cert IV in Frontline Management or similar.
Other Important Information:
- Completion of all prescribed mandatory training.
- Participation in an annual plan and appraisal development process.
- A Police Background Check is required.
