What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for management of all processes surrounding paper and electronic health care records at Royal North Shore Hospital, including leading a team of digitisation officers in all aspects of document imaging and Records Control.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated ability in effective managerial, interpersonal, negotiation, team motivation, complaints handling and people management skills.
- Experience managing health care records and high-level knowledge of General Retention & Disposal Authorities (GDAs) and Australian Standards, and health record processes and systems.
- High level verbal and written communication skills including the ability to document procedures, conduct meetings and write correspondence.
