Are you curious about being part of our growth story while evolving your skills in a culture that will welcome your unique contributions? If so, let's start the conversation.
The Job
Iron Mountain’s Professional Services organisation is looking for a Services Product Manager who will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and understanding customer use cases and user journeys, designing functional architecture to resolve these use cases and user journeys, and creating corresponding user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. You will perform this role for a portfolio of customer projects, which may span more than one global region. In this role, you will have ownership of the designs for our customers, leading conversations with our customers while mentoring and supporting business analysts, product owners, and engineers implementing the designs. In this role your analysis, design, documentation, architectural, communication, and team leadership skills outweigh your project or SDLC management skills - your product management and analyst skills are paramount.
The Responsibilities
Build, coach, mentor, and lead a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, UI/UX designers, QA testers and junior architects to create functional architecture for new and existing customers
Work directly with customers to identify use cases, design architectures, and translate this to requirements, user stories and user journeys
Set the tone by fostering teamwork, conveying the client vision, and ensuring the team is adhering to best practices
Work directly with the services engineering team in your region to mature, revise and implement this work, showing design leadership and functional vision in your decisions
Identify risks, assumptions, and mitigation strategies associated with the different elements of the architecture
Provide input to project implementation plans by working with project managers to develop resource plans and optimise resources
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving major issues encountered with the implementations
Utilise design thinking methodologies and processes to facilitate development of solution design and architecture
Identify and establish SDLC and functional architecture best practices needed in region, e.g., tooling, testing, design quality assessments, epic/story generation frameworks and strategies, etc
Provide feedback to Iron Mountain product management and core engineering team members on customers' needs for existing features, future roadmap items, or features developed by your team
Maintain and grow your subject matter expertise with relevant ECM, CSP, DAM, PAM, LMS, case management, content services, RPA, and BPM practices/technologies
Identify and communicate to Services Engineering, DevOps, and CloudOps volume and performance requirements needed to scale the cloud platform
Support and promote Iron Mountain core value
