Due to continued growth, we are seeking for a Sheetmetal Worker with proven experience working in a variety of settings. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Sydney NSW.

About the Role
Day to day tasks will vary, however you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks which include but is not limited to:
· Fabricating ductwork according to precise measurements and specifications outlined in blueprints and design plans. This involves cutting, bending, shaping sheet metal using various tools and equipment to create ducts that efficiently distribute air throughout buildings.
· Installing duct systems within residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This includes positioning and securing ducts in designated locations, connecting sections of ductwork using fasteners and sealing materials, and ensuring proper alignment and support to optimize airflow and ventilation efficiency.
· Choosing appropriate metal stock, such as stainless steel, galvanized iron, mild steel, aluminium, and copper, ensuring sizes, and other dimensions meet project specifications for duct fabrication.
· Using hand and power shears, guillotines, drills, folding and bending machines, rollers, presses, and hammers to cut, shape, and form metal stock into duct components according to design requirements.
· Complete finishing processes such as polishing, filing, sanding, and cleaning to enhance the appearance and functionality of fabricated ductwork components, ensuring smooth airflow and minimal resistance.
· Conduct inspections and tests on installed ductwork systems to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards, identifying and addressing any issues or deficiencies in performance.
Skills & Experience – Who we’re looking for:
For this position, it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
· Minimum Certificate III or Certificate IV in relevant field, OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
· Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
· Strong communication skills to work as a team with colleagues and liaise with clients.
· A keen eye for detail with the ability to manage priorities across a range of projects and tasks.
· A helpful, positive, and problem-solving attitude in the face of challenges.
· Knowledge, understanding and the ability to read and work from Mechanical/Architectural drawings.
