AddressSublime is a company that offers manufacture and installation solutions to its customers on their ductwork of air-handling system’s needs. Due to continual growth, our company is seeking a reliable, highly motivated full-time Sheetmetal Worker to add to our team.
With the increase of the business, we are looking for a Sheetmetal Worker, reliable, hardworking, trustful person that wants to use his/her skills to work for our company located at Smithfield.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpreting and reading blueprints, drawling and specifications to define material, equipment and quantity required for the job;
- Shaping, producing, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment;
- Setting up and operating machines to cut, bend, shape and straighten sheetmetal;
- Operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts;
- Inspecting individual parts, assemblies, and installations for conformance to specifications and building codes, using measuring instruments or any other equipment required;
- Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts and rivets.
- Fastening seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering;
- Selecting gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to product specifications;
- Finalizing products by polishing, shaving, smoothing and cleaning assembled materials;
- Maintaining equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary;
- Transporting prefabricated parts to construction sites for assembly and installation.
Required Skills:
- Relevant qualifications; and
- Minimum 2 years work experience.
- Hand-eye coordination;
- Use a wide-range of hand tools and equipment during installation;
- Lift heavy sheets onto roofs and move materials around;
- Excellent math skills;
- Strong attention to detail with skills in customer service and communication
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
