Location: Beresfield
Shifts and Hours: Rotating roster every 2 weeks
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
- 10pm t0 6am
Our client is seeking an experienced Shift Leaderto join their team on a permanent basis.
The role of the Shift Leader is a dedicated “on the floor” based role overseeing their team and allocate roles to complete required production tasks and to maintain the standards.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Communicate important information with crew members and other shifts
- Identify deficiencies in systems/procedures, report and make suggestions for improvement
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards are enforced at all times
- Break relief for the production operator
- Assist Plant Operators as required
- Must have a high attention to detail
- Ensure factory is clean at all times
Essential skills:
- Strong safety work ethic
- Forklift ticket and experience
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Team Leader
- Strong knowledge of Production & Packaging Procedures
- Strong Knowledge of how and when to escalate issues
- Strong knowledge of GMP Practices
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety rules
- Ability to train others
Desirable;
- Previous experience within the food industry
