Overview:
Reporting to the Warehouse & Operations Manager, this full-time permanent position requires sound knowledge and experience preferably in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) and/or Foodservice, and HACCP controls. The successful candidate will manage a mid-sized team and ensure premium customer standards are met within their responsibility.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Maintaining facility requirements to HACCP standards and OH&S compliance.
- Ensuring optimum pick rates and accuracy in QSR departments
- Maintaining all aspects of fulfillment of customer orders.
- Overseeing stock levels. Receipting of goods inwards, and Customer invoicing.
- Effective rostering and labour management in line with achieving set KPIs
- Effective and regular communication with key department heads and Management
- Overseeing staff to ensure high levels of productivity and DIFOT
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the business (Operations, Inventory, Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, and OH&S Department)
- Maintaining warehouse equipment in line with company requirements and safety regulations
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 -5 years experience working in a similar role
- Qualifications and sound knowledge in warehousing and storage of FMCG products
- Prior experience in the QSR/food service industry will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of supply chain principles.
- Prior WMS /RF scanner experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of OH&S regulations & HACCP requirements.
The successful candidate will have a proven warehousing background, preferably in food or FMCG, provide premium customer service, intermediate to advanced level PC skills, and a can-do mentality. You will be competent in building trust, reducing error rates, and increasing productivity across the warehouse floor. You will be adaptable, flexible, and results oriented.
