Established in 1995, Kingfisher Cruisers is a trusted shipwright and boat building business that specialises in all aspects of boat repairs, refit work, modifications, restorations and maintenance.

Located at Australia’s state of the art marina ‘The Boat Works’, offers a large variety of amenities and cafes at your fingertips. 

Qualifications & experience:

• Minimum (4) years’ relevant industry experience
• Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction 
• High attention to detail and quality standards 
• Excellent problem solving skills 
• Ability to individually complete tasks and projects unsupervised 
• Proficiency in working with various materials, tools and machinery 
• Ability to work well in a team environment 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Structural repairs; Fibreglass & GRP Lamination 
• Teak decking & fine joinery 
• Boat Building 
• Plug & mould making 
• Gel- coat, 2pac repairs & processes  
• Osmosis repairs
• Antifoul & Propspeed
• Custom building hard tops, duckboards and extensions
• Interior refit work
• Cabinetry making and fit out 
• Surface restoration and repairs of timber boats 
• Installations of; engine and generators, hydraulic swim platforms, water makers, air-conditioning and bow and stern thrusters 
• Commissioning of new boats
