Work Location: Chichester Hub - Christmas Creek Fixed Plant; Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 8/6 ex Perth
Reporting to the OPF Shutdown Superintendent, the Shutdown Technical Coordinator will be responsible for delivering shutdowns safely, within duration and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Review technical shutdown work scopes.
- Ensure QA/QC process is followed pre, during & post shutdown.
- Contractor engagement & support.
- Problem solving complex challenges.
- Shutdown Coordinator support.
- Review & update QA/QC documentation.
- Engage fixed plant departments to ensure plant reliability.
- Strong focus on Safety is a must.
- A thorough understanding of FMG values, procedures, and processes.
- Mechanical Trade/ Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
- Sound understanding of Fixed Plant Maintenance processes.
- SAP experience.
- Public speaking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Leadership skills.
- Approachable.
