As The Simulation ICT Transition Manager, you will be working with members of Defence to advance projects and programs and provide end-to-end management, delivery, transition and operation integration of multiple IT initiatives;
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Ensure new and existing services have consistent practices applied in alignment with JCTB and broader ADF processes and policy;
- Create various required artefacts as defined by the process, such as Service Design docs, transition registers and Service Support Agreements;
- Identifies technical sources of JCT risk and uses approved Defence frameworks for formal reporting and assessment. Also, treats risk independently within means and authority.
- Applies Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management practices.
- Identify improvements, and contribute to feedback sessions.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfill this role:
- You must hold a current NV2 security clearance or higher.
- If you currently hold an NV1 clearance level, and are willing to attain an NV2, DPS can support you in this process.
We're looking for:
- ITIL v3 or ITIL4 Foundations Certification.
- Demonstrated strong customer focus and service delivery experience.
- Proven experience developing, championing and management successful transition to BAU.
- Strong communication, facilitation, elicitation and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to deliver complex IT deliverables in cross-functional team environments.
- Able to engage and effectively collaborate with stakeholders across all levels within the Branch & organisation.
- Hands on experience in process design and mapping using software such as MS Visio, PowerPoint etc.
- Experience in Service Management Tools such as JIRA & ServiceNow.
