As the Site Accountant for Re.Group, you will be responsible for all things accounting, while ensuring revenue and costs are recognised appropriately and all billings processes are completed. Your pivotal role involves conducting weekly / monthly reviews with site managers while assisting in annual budget and forecast preparation.
About the role:
- Preparation and review of weekly and monthly reporting for allocated sites
- Ensure revenue and costs are recognised appropriately, and that all billing processes are completed.
- Generate weekly and monthly P&L reporting for QLD sites mainly across Sunshine Coast & Rocklea
- Conduct weekly / monthly reviews with site managers
- Undertake financial analysis & variance reporting
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Understand operational reasons contributing to performance
- Assist in the development of management & compliance reporting via participation in developing BI reports
- Undertake periodic review of customer performance
- Maintain effective working relationships all stakeholders in the team and in other departments
- Support the development of commercial offers to customers working with operation business partners
- Assist in annual budget and forecast preparation
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance or equivalent commercial experience
- Previous Management accounting or Financial Analyst experience with skills gained in a large or complex business
- CA or CPA qualified (or working towards) would be preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or waste processing environment would be ideal
- Proficient in generating weekly & monthly reporting with P & L experience
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
- Strong stakeholder communication with the ability to communicate with all employees in the business
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well developed computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel intermediate)
