HMAS Coonawarra is a Royal Australian Navy (RAN) base located in Darwin, Northern Territory, and is home to 12 fleet units of the RAN. Scope of works include structural steel repair work at Attack Wharf and Fremantle Wharf.
THE ROLE
This opportunity will commence with the below tasks and will potentially look into transitioning into a project administration role in the future.
- Staff travel bookings
- Organise staff accommodation
- Compiling monthly reports
- Take accurate and effective minutes
- Assist the engineering team with Submittals and ROA’s
- Provide administration assistance to the Senior Project Manager
- Assist the project team with general administration works
- Maintain various registers
- Generate reports
- Enter data accurately and in a timely manner
- Document control
- Raising purchase requestions
- Assisting the commercial team as required
- Assist in the projects HOTO requirements
ABOUT YOU
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Experience with Microsoft Word
- Comfortable in a construction project environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A Police Clearance
