Job Description
Acciona Rail has a strong presence throughout Australia supporting and supplying the country’s rail infrastructure, we provide construction services for major rail and transport infrastructure projects Australia-wide.
The Minor Works team are instrumental in looking after maintenance works from upgrading track and bridges to installing concrete walls and modernizing train stations and platforms.

The Opportunity
The Site Engineer will report into the Senior Project Engineer and assist with the planning, execution and closing of a project.
Key Accountabilities for the position will be:
- Ensure appropriate permits and approvals are in place to facilitate daily works activities.
- Preparation of Work Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans, Safe Work Methods Statements (SWMS), Construction Procedures and Site Access Plans
- Assist in procurement and the arrangement of Purchase Orders.
- Tracking of costs and establishment of productivity measures Monitor and liaise with the project delivery team to ensure you are fully aware of the current and planned daily activities of the project
- Accurately record the daily progress, material deliveries and daily site resources pertaining to all site works, including subcontract works.
- Required to be on site 5 days per week or as otherwise agreed with the Construction Manager.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a project-based engineer in the construction engineering industry
- Experience in disciplines such as rail and associated civil infrastructure
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
