IEPro has been requested by their growing Civil Contracting Client to seek an ambitious Site Engineer to assist them to complete their large pipeline of works across QLD and Northern NSW. These projects require a switched on and experienced Engineer to have previous earthworks experience with road construction, bridge, culverts and drainage. This is a company that treats its people with respect and where you are treated as an important member of the team. The work is sure to be challenging, varied, exciting and rewarding. Ideally for those situated in the Gold Coast area.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the site whilst liaising with their experienced Engineering and Supervision team members and should use their prior experience to assist with;
- Problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
- Develop, execute, and analyse quality reporting measures
- Plan and coordinate on-site construction activities
- Procurement
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 1 year experience on civil construction projects in Australia
- Strong knowledge of road construction methods/specifications
- A background in road, bridge & drainage works
