The purpose of the Site Engineer position is to support the delivery of Road Construction Projects through the implementation of onSite Engineering services which includes integrating with and supporting the construction surfacing operations and management as required for the delivery of projects within the agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards

Sound knowledge and understanding of quality systems.
Sound understanding of WHS systems.
Ability to manage the delivery of various construction packages including managing subcontractors and service suppliers.
Sound verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus
Knowledge in managing construction program in including critical path management and site logistics.
Site organisation and planning skills
Cost control and budgeting skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Internet and Email
Education & Qualifications
Tertiary level Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Class C drivers' licence
Construction Industry Induction (white card)
Certificate 4 in WHS (desirable)
Personal Attributes
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Be flexible and have the ability to work a combination of Night, Split and Day shifts.
Show a high level of Initiative, motivation and be self-driven.
High level of verbal and written communication skills
Outcome focused and thorough understanding of the factors affecting end product and result.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Internet and Email
Strong interpersonal skill and ability to build relationships through communication at all levels.
Able to evaluate information quickly, identifying key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgement, experience and common sense.
