About The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and supervision of rail construction and maintenance projects. With a small team focused on the successful delivery of our projects as well as your own professional development, you’ll be exposed to all aspects of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate on-site construction and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, subcontractors and our valued clients to achieve project goals.
- Oversee the quality of workmanship on-site.
- Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.
- Provide technical support and solutions to challenges encountered during construction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the development and submission of tenders for new up and coming projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in rail construction and maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of Australian rail standards and regulations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools used in the industry.
