The role will support the Project Manager to deliver road, general pavement, hardstand maintenance and road corridor maintenance works, along with minor construction projects with a strong focus safety of operations and compliance to project specifications and drawings.

About the Role
Focussing on the implementation and execution of roadworks construction projects, accountable for directly delivering specific projects and liaising with client representatives to influence project outcomes.
You are responsible for
- Compliance to Project Management Plans and engineering compliance
- Planning (2 week lookahead and whole of project)
- Procurement and resource management
- Reporting – safety, environment, sustainability, productivity, quality and cost/revenue (project daily/monthly cost and forecasting)
- Contract management support, including audits & inspections, Raising NCR/OFIs, head contract claims preparations and contractor claim certifications
- Coordinating with our clients, stakeholders, local communities and subcontractors
Technical responsibilities include
- Work task scope development, documentation and reviews
- Supporting tenders & estimations
- Work order creation and completion utilising bespoke software systems
- Delivery supervision and verification of completed works
- Adherence to all statutory, contractual and company requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Experience in Roadworks and Pavement Construction
- Experience with infrastructure maintenance – roads and other pavements, and drainage
- Ability to work autonomously and build strong professional relationships
- Experience managing quality lots, NCR and RFI processes from a quality management perspective
