Site Manager

• Site Manager - $1M High-End Commercial Spec Fit Out - Newcastle CBD

• 2-month Contract role
• Suit Supervisor with approx 3-5 years exp in the interior fit out sector 
• Competitive Hourly Rates (ABN Pty Ltd or PAYG option)
• IMMEDIATE START

Prominent Sydney builder has an immediate need to hire a No.1 Site Manager on a Contract basis. Contract will be 2 months minimum. Specific job will be a $1M commercial spec fit out project in the heart of Newcastle.

As the number 1 Site Supervisor on the job, reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the construction project which will include;

• Organising sub-contractors
• Driving and management of all on-site trades and sub-contractors
• Reading construction plans and drawings
• Overseeing high-quality finishes
• Ensuring Site Safety through HSE management
• Assisting with the delivery of the project to programme and to budget
• Reporting to the Project Manager through email correspondence and telephone

Suitable candidates will possess the following;

• Ideally coming from a Carpentry background
• 3 Years + Site Supervisor experience in the interiors space
• Must have managed office fitouts and commercial refurbishment projects up to $2-$3M
• Will have a strong knowledge of interior fit-out trades
• Will have worked for reputable, established fit-out companies in Australia
• Will have been ‘number 1’ Site Manager on projects
• Enthusiastic, committed and eager to succeed with an excellent employer.
