Design & Build Recruitment is working with a renowned construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional New Build projects across education, defence, health, high rise residential, hospitality, and office tower projects. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, our client takes pride in creating iconic structures that are redefining the South East Queensland. Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Managers to lead New Build projects circa $25M - $50M. This is a permanent and long term position with other projects in the pipeline.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of the project within specified timelines, budget constraints, and the highest quality standards. You will work closely with a dedicated project team including a Project Manager and Contracts Administrator. You will not be inheriting any legacy issues, as you will be involved in the project from the very beginning and able to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain smooth project progress.
• Develop and implement construction schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and address any issues promptly.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance team performance and morale.
• Keep on top of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager running New Build projects in excess of $25M.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
