The ideal Site Manager will have solid new build construction experience for this $6mil educational facility based in the North West. You will have an ability to hit the ground running to execute the project within the contractual conditions, time frames, scope and budget. Supported by the Leadership and Construction team, this exciting new role will see your day consist of running a community project.
Your role will be responsible for:
- Working to project deadlines, drive and coordinate sub-contractors, site labour and trades.
- Program project works and achieve critical path milestones.
- Monitor and manage all project activities of sub-contractors in relation to progress, budget and work quality to ensure they are completed to required standards.
- Read and interpret construction plans.
- Monthly progress reporting and liaising with Construction Manager & Project Manager on status of projects.
- Managing Quality & WHS on site / inductions of new people to site.
- Supplier negotiation and ordering materials.
- Client & Stakeholder liaison.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- A trade or building related qualification along with trade experience preferred.
- Proven knowledge of the construction process, minimum 3 years’ experience in a Site Manager role.
- Experience in the delivery of new build, large scale fitout and/or refurb projects, live environment experience is favourable.
- The capacity to programme and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and ensure highest quality finish on each project.
- You will be organised, highly motivated, a team player with a can do attitude.
- A passion for ensuring safety and quality is important and maintained onsite.
