Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) is recruiting for a Site Manager of Patient Support Services. Primarily based at Fremantle Hospital, this role directs and manages the delivery of Patient Support Services to ensure optimal service to customers at all levels within Fremantle Hospital and Health Service. This role is also accountable for the efficient and effective management and utilisation of the human, financial and physical resources of Patient Support Services and the Ladies Auxiliary volunteer group. Services managed by this position include Patient Catering (which also supports the Ladies Auxiliary Volunteer Group), Patient Support Assistants (PSA), Cleaning, Mortuary, Linen, Waste, Mailroom and Patient Transport.
The successful applicant also supports the Group Manager Patient Support Services by FSFHG leading, managing and implementing contemporary change management processes in order to achieve Divisional outcomes that align with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
