We have a rare opportunity for a strategic & people focused Site Manager to oversee Boral’s Salisbury Recycling facility!
Reporting to the Recycling Operations Manager VIC/SA you will be responsible for leading the daily functionalities of the site, specifically focusing on safety, environment, customer satisfaction, quality control, plant performance, management of budget and people management. You will play a key role in partnering with our trusted suppliers and the wider community to drive meaningful relationships. Your well-developed commercial acumen will see to your success in identifying areas of cost efficiencies, growth and process improvements.
Your day will involve:
Effective management of daily operations, delivering on agreed priorities of world class manufacturing performance in line with budgeting and forecasts.
Efficient management of human resources, contractors, raw material procurement and stock control
Ensuring all facilities are in line with current licencing, consents and regulatory requirements
Maintaining productive relationships with internal stakeholders such as Boral Logistics and Sales & Marketing
Contributing to the strategic planning and execution of short-term and long-term Capital Works and maintenance
What are we looking for?
A proven track record in the management and supervision of staff with a strong focus on skills development, safety and productivity
Demonstrated experience within heavy industry or Recycling.
Ability to maintain and improve site culture through open communication and collaboration
Strong initiative to identify, manage, and solve issues and risks
Experience developing and managing budgets including controlling expenditure and costs
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders
