About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to support our project teams in the delivery of our growing portfolio of diverse fitout and construction projects ranging from $5m to $40+ million. As a Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Championing SHAPE’s safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with EHSQ requirements
- Managing all on-site activities from site establishment and on-site logistics, through to handover and defect rectifications
- Maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors and managing the delivery of quality work
- Managing and developing programmes in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination with the client, consultants, and stakeholders
About you
- Site management experience as the Principal Contractor within commercial fit outs and refurbishment (ideally 5+ years)
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build successful teams and maintain strong relationships
- Trade and/or safety qualifications
- Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to problem solve
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project would be handy but not essential
