The role:
The Site Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating and ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our wind farms. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Health and Safety Commitment: Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, develop safe work environments, and supervise site activities.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day running of operation sites, optimize generation and availability of wind turbines, and track maintenance plans.
- Community Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with local landowners and neighbors, attend community meetings, and address complaints.
- Contract Management: Monitor compliance with operational and maintenance contracts, track KPIs, and manage warranty claims.
- Asset Care: Ensure proper care and maintenance of site equipment, manage procurement processes, and participate in major modification activities.
- Vocational Educational Training (VET) or Associate Degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision roles in renewable energy generation plants.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy practices, legislation, and equipment monitoring.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, excellent time management, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently, travel to other sites when required, and climb wind turbines.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) with good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
